They have to find a way to keep him in this country, but he ought to refrain from hitting people up side the head. He should take care of his family and let the past go.

I don't think he should let it go. I think he should be charged as any American, if the communist wish to press charges. Then let them come to America and take the witness stand against him. Then he can present to the world, what they were doing. I don't think they want to get caught bringing their racism and abuse here. As Judge Judy would say, he did the wrong thing. But, I think any jury, who knew the facts, would find there were extenuating circumstances. In the interest of justice, the commies would be given $1.

The present Vietnamese government is one of the most repressive in the world. In the run up to the 2004 election, I learned more about the plight of the Vietnamese we left behind, the duplicity of antiwar protesters (Kerry & buds), torture of our military, and the current trading done by such Americans, who have very antiwar pasts (Kerry's former brother-in-law for one), that I will not buy clothes with a Vietnam label. America does stand for something.
