This was a well-written column. It's great when you finish the column with your best line. Mark Steyn and Ann both do that.

Don't remember the direct quote and couldn't find it on a quick/short web search but she said something to the effect that if you take away the terrorism, Dems would hate everything about Islam.
I'm not trying to bash Islam but she does have a point.

And it got only 2 inches of column space in the MSM and the next day the RATS continued the onslaught.
This is why we need a USA Today type paper that tells the truth and reports the facts.

Like ALL ideas presently applied by the Dem'crat Paltry - the inspiration to aid the enemy dates back to at LEAST the time when Richard Nixon ascended to the Presidency. The belief that aiding the enemy is a patriotic act is relatively new, of course, but the Dem'crats have largely fossilized thinking that was expanded during the New Deal (which was mostly adopted wholesale from the Germany of Kaiser Wilhelm and Otto von Bismarck).

So why doesn't some rich entrepreneur start a true conservative paper nationally? It would be an instant money maker,etc. My answer is that the elites would never allow it.

I am a proponent of a USA Today type of paper that doesn't print the Conservative view. It prints the facts and the truth rather than editorialize. Combine that with Fox News and it would put the MSM out of business.
The New York Sun is growing and coming on. New Media is growing quickly in influence and reach. And it seems every week another scandal emerges concerning Old Media. It's happening.
It looks like Ann "The Conservative Al Franken" Coulter made an ass of herself again and I missed it. Damn!
As for Murtha, he has turned his back on the Marines by his actions. That is dishonor. I think he is either a misguided political opportunist or somebody's got him by the short hairs.
When it comes to treason, I believe it's possible to be a traitor without being formally charged, the niceties of the law notwithstanding. Murtha falls short of that, but I do not hesitate to brand John Kerry as such.As with all crimes, there will always be perpetrators who escape justice.
