I just finished reading Freeh's book and I agree that he is a decent guy. He had and has zero respect for Clinton but I was disappointed in his positive regard for Reno.
I also found his comments about Richard Clark interesting. According to Freeh, the guy wasn't really in the loop. You would never know it by the media adoration lavished on the guy.

I have had some communications with one of Freeh's brothers. It's a deeply Catholic family with strong values. I mean real Catholic, not kerry or kennedy Catholic.

I don't know why Freeh would honor Reno. It may be that what he saw was a woman without all her marbles who did her best but was leaned on and twisted by clinton, much as he was. I don't myself believe that Reno is corrupt, just stupid and infected by the well-meaning liberal disease, and perhaps in her later years not all there.
