We don't think CNN is nefariously trying to brainwash it's audience through subliminal messages.

Maybe *you* don't..but i wouldn't pt it past them. I think someone should go though recordings of their brodcasts over the last 5 years, and look for evidence to cpnfirm or refute the valid suspicion. Their explanation is *way* fishy. No *other* station has a "switch" that resembles an 'X'.

Think of your assertion logistically. In order for CNN to conspire to subliminally brainwash it's audience as a matter of corporate policy would take a conspiracy of at least 30-40 people. You have to see the executives okaying it, the editors, the producers, the techs and then the shrinks who came up with the brainwashing to run. You actually believe that in 40-50 people not one of them would think it was wrong? Even at CNN you have to realize that at least one of these people would be conservative or at worst a decent person. It is just logistically impossible to think that this could be happening systematically.

I'm not a CNN defender. To hide facts or spin statements in favor of their viewpoint is something that can be done at a systemic level, but to think that some nefarious act like subliminal advertising could be going on for five years without anyone objecting or noticing. You're off the deep end. Stick to media bias. That can be quantitatively shown to be a systematic problem at CNN, NYT and all of the MSM. It's the type of conspiracy offered by the nutjobs on the left.
