I think he's lost and searching for material worthy of his talents. I hope MUNICH is great, but describing the massacrew of Israeli athletes at Munich as a 'tragedy' is not a good sign.

"Private Ryan" was, IMHO, the absolute best movie about war that has ever been made, especially the opening scene of the landing at Normandy.
