Sounds to me like the ragheads are getting delusional. Desparation after having their a$$es kicked by the U.S. military all over the middle east would tend to have that effect.
But remember, the threat and train bombing in Spain worked. The "brave" Spaniards rushed to elect a socialist who was pro-terrorist, and anti-Iraq war and to depose the PM who did have backbone, courage and intelligence to know that appeasing terrorists does NOT work.
So they are trying it again, after all, it worked once, and they are hoping the Italians will get scared, and not reelect Berlusconi.
