I know that Morita played the pawn shop owner in the third episode of the short-lived CBS TV series Hearts are Wild in 1992. He was pretty good even in that small role, and had the TV series continued it's likely he would have become a recurring character on that show.

That being said, Mr. Morita was an enjoyable screen personality who entertained us for many years. RIP.
