This is recommended reading for those in Congress who are pushing for an exit strategy. It already exists. No need for GWB to lay it out again because the idiots in congress still cannot see the picture. We all knew the exit strategy. Were told the time frame as the author points out. Everything is on schedule. What IS the real problem congressional idiots?? They don't want GWB to get credit for anything productive and will smear every effort as a failure. That is crystal clear.
As for the fine details of the plan........no need to give that aspect to the enemy that still exists in Iraq and those neighbors of tyranny.
>>>What IS the real problem congressional idiots??
JMO. I think it has more to do with the details contained in those boxes of files that were found back in 2002. I'm betting there are names that were on Saddam's list that don't want thoses details to come out.
Also, JMO, I think Saddam's lawyers being killed are related to this too.

I would say they already KNEW what was in the works, they needed to make a "PREEMPTIVE" strike, to encourage more bloodletting, no good news for them from IRAQ if all is quiet, and further make political hay every day a member of the military returns home over the next year.
That word "withdrawal" has no other meaning to the uncivilized terrorists, our liberals seem to have publicly 'outed' themselves, if more people like this author with take the time to show the FACTS.
The issue is that some of those people want Iraq to be a failure, and so they want to define an achievable objective for the terrorists to make Iraq a "failure".
Right now there is a time table that has basically been met, but even if terrorists were to cause something to slip by a week or even a month that would not constitute a "failure" for the new government. But the pro-terrorist politicians would want to define things in such terms, so the terrorists would then have an attaintable objective.
