This would be more inspiring if it were Christmas. Or even December. And, perhaps, even more inspiring if there were someone there to see the lights [other than the do gooders who put them up]. Did these same people ever put up Christmas lights in the Lower 9th Ward when it was fully inhabited? Not likely.
It just seems like an awful waste of fuel and unnecessary wear and tear on a generator that could be put to much better use.
