Calvin Broadus "aka Snoop Dogg" is a "reformed" gang banger who left the streets behind to start rap singing about a life that glorifies violence, misogyny, drugs, poverty and dead end lifestyles. He's hip now and white people fall all over themselves trying to get a piece of him. He claims that Williams' message inspired him to try and do more in his community.

I do believe in redemption for people and Williams has done something to atone for his actions. If he has helped to turn kids away from the lifestyle of gangs then maybe God will have mercy on his soul. But, his actions of the last ten or so years will never atone for what he did to his people and for that justice needs to be served.
