Nice bait.
Hunting is what man was designed to do. All of mans skills come into focus when hunting. The hunt is the very essence of life.
Today I'm going to mom's for a massive deer fry.
Life is good.
Then yer dumb as a PETA disruptor or DU idgit.....Hunting isn't SPORT , .....never has been and those who "trophy hunt" are loser pieces of sh*t IMHO !
.... But even "they" donate the meat to be consumed by locals.....
Hunting has kept man alive since day one when he smashed a lizard with a rock.
Get over it.
Well, you sure make a sound like one. Hunters finance a tremendous portion of each state's game conservation programs - and if you think hunting is cruel, you've never seen how Mother Nature kills off excess wildlife.
Urged?
Urged by whom? Or what?
Cruelty may also be defined as knowingly and intentionally allowing a herd of animals to suffer. Without proper management, to include humane culling and thinning as needed; a society is commiting cruelty to the animals. Fine if you believe that it is not "sporting" to humanely dispatch an animal. Each state has their own laws regarding the methods and tools that may be utilized. After reading up on your local laws in detail, please return to this thread and cite the exact excerpt that allows or requires cruel harvesting of legal game.

You need to amuse yourself this weekend with something else. Whoever urged you is NOT your friend.
Are you suffering from too much tryptophan from your holiday turkey???
Good to know. Care to help us classify now that we have eliminated ONE dufus category?

I agree that its not a sport and hardly sporting until the animals have a 50-50 chance of bagging a hunter. I hate hunting personally.
That being said, the animals are hunted for their flesh and sometimes fur, and that is hardly anti-life cruelty. I hate hunting, but I love venison.

By who? I'd rather see a deer on a plate than dead on the road or eating my Wife's garden.
However, the times when I've killed wild animals for food will not number among them. Vegetarianism is the only answer to your critique of hunting, and in my bible at least, humans are specifically authorized to eat meat.
