Gee, I wonder if George Soros' name is anywhere to be found, either in this article, or on a check or two to the named funds?

Maybe we should blow up a few of their meetings and see how they like it.

"Turns out that far-left groups in western Europe are carrying on a campaign dubbed Ten Euros for the Resistance, offering aid and comfort to the car bombers, kidnappers, and snipers trying to destabilize the fledgling Iraq government. In the words of one Italian website, Iraq Libero (Free Iraq), the funds are meant for those fighting the occupanti imperialisti. The groups are an odd collection, made up largely of Marxists and Maoists, sprinkled with an array of Arab emigres and aging, old-school fascists, according to Lorenzo Vidino, an analyst on European terrorism based at The Investigative Project in Washington, D.C. "It's the old anticapitalist, anti-U.S., anti-Israel crowd," says Vidino, who has been to their gatherings, where he saw activists from Austria, Denmark, Germany, and Italy. "The glue that binds them together is anti-Americanism." The groups are working on an October conference to further support "the Iraqi Resistance." A key goal is to expand backing for the insurgents from the fringe left to the broader antiwar and antiglobalization movements."

Surprise, surprise. Same old groups. Same old enemy. And they're on our streets daily in the guise of International Answer, Code Pinko, Moveon.org, Cindy Sheehan, today's Democrat Party, et al.

U.S. Democrats in high positions are the driving force of the insurgency. For every Susan Lindauer that is nabbed, there's a thousand more that aren't found.

I think this story was posted back in June, when it originally came out.

Enough of this s**t.

I want our clandestine services to find the people doing this, and kill them.

I know it's a stretch but do you know if there's any truth to this old report of Gorbachev living at the 'Presidio'?

If it's true, wouldn't that be Pelosi's area?

The Left has never met an enemy of the West that they didn't like. With the collapse of the Soviet Union, the old leftists had to find a new ally. They have picked Muslim extremism. Anything they can use to threaten the West with.

FYI...I was doing a search and found a Part II to this article (dated 4 days later):

National Security Watch: Eurolefties fund Iraq insurgency–Part II

It includes a link to a Congressional hearing on the subject "Who Pays the Iraqi Insurgents?"
