What is needed to accomplish this is a Europe-wide Truth and Reconciliation Commission

Unfortunately, this commission has a very communist sounding name. Is a commission necessary? Can't the historians and journalists publish the truth themselves, and can it not be disseminated to European society so that the people will decide on their own volition that communism is harmful to humans?

You have to make sure that the files really are released and not hidden or destroyed by those trying to hide the misdeeds of themselves or their friends. Fortuneately that couldn't happen here.
