I take that back, we have not had a bad time. We have had a difficult time. I am just feeling really down today. We were VERY lucky that we are fine, our pets are fine, and, my husband still has a residency. We had family to stay with for a week or so. We are very fortunate.

God Bless you. I know everyday there is a struggle. The lack of city services, jobs, smell and even places to eat and everything else.

I have cried every time I have been to the city.

When I saw the College Inn had flooded (many memories as a kid)

Driving north on Canal at night into the darkness

My old neighborhood gone

Seeing families picking through garbage bags filled with clothes on Canal (I had seen that before in India)
