You are right, of course.
We have a very immature electorate, who need courting and tweeking ever so much to get them in the mood.

Maybe there should be a purple finger incentive.

I think it would be a GREAT move by Republicans to go vote in 2006 with a finger already colored purple that they don't unveil until they leave the booth.

I would love the press to see people across California unveil to the press their favorite purple digit finger and say it was to make a change away from the liberal legislature.

Would be a blast!
If I saw that on TV, I'd be chuckling for hours.
