From the article...

"One has a sense that this is not going to end in a nice fashion. Beirut and what happened to Terry Waite, also shows that the fact these men are Christians does not give them immunity from being fair game. On the contrary for some it may be convenient that they are Christians, it may serve their purposes."

These people were no smarter than the "human shields" that went to Iraq -- what a joke. These handwringing anti-war liberals are getting exactly what they asked for in a war zone populated by radical Islamics.

But of course, it is Bush's fault that they were taken hostage.

When their heads are on a different part of their bodies, they may get a new perspective........

They chose to go there. They don't want us to get them out.

Fine...we should not waste our military men and women to save idiots.

Misplaced Moonbat Anger

The four Westerners kidnapped by an Iraqi terrorist gang belonged to an anti-war group that calls itself Christian Peacemaker Teams.

Today, Christian Peacemaker Teams released a statement about the kidnappings. They’re angry. Very angry.

At the United States and Britain.

In a statement, Christian Peacemaker Teams said it strongly opposed the U.S. invasion of Iraq and blamed the kidnapping on coalition forces.

“We are angry because what has happened to our teammates is the result of the actions of the U.S. and U.K. government due to the illegal attack on Iraq and the continuing occupation and oppression of its people,” the group said.

Christian Peacemaker Teams does not consider itself a fundamentalist organization, a spokeswoman said.

“We are very strict about this: We do not do any evangelism, we are not missionaries,” Jessica Phillips told The Associated Press in Chicago. “Our interest is to bring an end to the violence and destruction of civilian life in Iraq.”

The group’s first activists went to Iraq in 2002, six months before the U.S.-led invasion, Phillips said, adding that a main mission since the invasion has been documenting alleged human rights abuses by U.S. forces.

Well, you never know.
For years, the Left has maintained

The irony is too thick here. I can't see anything.

And now they get a first hand look at actual human rights abuses as they get abused by the real abusers. May God have mercy on their souls as the jihadists separate heads from bodies.

This is what they wanted, for the jihadis to be calling the shots. Lesson: "Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it!"

To conclude this exceptionally witty post, let me engage in a little poetic license:

Lib heads, lib heads,
Roly poly lib heads,
Lib heads, lib heads,
Cut 'em off, yum!

I took a lib head
Out to the battlefield
And I didn't have to
Try to rescue him!

Lib heads, lib heads,
Roly poly lib heads,
Lib heads, lib heads,
Cut 'em off, yum!

They were probably working for an "insurgent" group and a rival group caught them. Oh well. I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for a bunch of hand-wringing liberals wandering into a war zone. They're like a small child wandering into the middle of a movie at the theater but they're so sure they know what's going on.

I hope they're so pissed off that they can't even see straight. See what happens when you let your people wander around a war zone without adult supervision?

...the fact these men are Christians does not give them immunity

Just opposite, they have 3 choices:

Convert to Islam
Pay
Die

Hear that, Jihadists? If you find any leftist in your country, they are SPIES for the GREAT SATAN, the United States. They should be killed IMMEDIATELY, and then Allah will be pleased.

Funny how they're not busy documenting the plight of Iraqis whose homes are invaded by foreign terrorists who force the household males into conscription in terrorist organizations. They are threatened that if they don't work for the terrorists, they will be forced to watch their families being raped and torture-murdered.

Funny how these moonbats and Amnesty International are not reporting that! All they do is wander the countryside inventing stories about U.S. troops machine-gunning villages, burning down apartment buildings full of poor people, and bombing civilians.

So either the terrorists didn't get the memo about CPT being on their side, or the so-called hostages are in on it. If it's the former, I'll still pray for the useful idiots' safety. If it's the latter, they'd better pray this doesn't blow up in their faces.

More political theater before the Iraqi elections. I bet they will be released in a week or so in much the same way that the Japanese peace activists were "freed." I strongly suspect that this is a setup.

I do as well-these "hostages" are not blind folded as usual. To me this means that have established some sort of relationship with their captors or the towel heads are running out of textiles.

"blamed the kidnapping on coalition forces."

I'm sure that Halburton will be accused of providing the knives used for their beheading which of course will be blamed on President Bush's policies. The terrorists who commit these murders will be called blameless.

I expect them to be singing kumbayas and denouncing Bush as their throats are slit. Bad enough to die at the hands of these murderers, but to die as a fool is even worse.
