Stanley "Tookie People's Lives" Williams: Extreme Makeover Of A Killer (Debbie Schlussel Alert)

Last week, we wrote about the cornucopia of celebs who support clemency for convicted murderer Stanley "Tookie" Williams, co-founder of the Crips and murderer of at least four people (probably more). To recap, we reported that Williams was a multiple-time Nobel Prize nominee for writing a kids book and allegedly helping to stop violence (not really).

Today, we have some questions we'd like to raise about Tookie. Questions that were NOT raised by the mainstream media. But, first, we'd like to draw your attention to "their" Tookie versus the REAL Tookie Williams, as encapsulated in the photo the liberal (mainstream) media uses versus the photo of Tookie when he murdered at least four innocent people. We think he was a contestant on "Extreme Make-over: Prison Edition."

Execute Him: REAL Tookie vs. Extreme Make-Over Tookie Then, there are the questions:

1) Is Tookie Williams still running the Crips from jail? Sources say yes.

2) Did Tookie Williams really write the children's book for which he was a repeated Nobel nominee? Sources say no--that it was all part of his image "make-over" and that the book was actually written by his lawyers.

3) Are the four murders he admittedly did the ONLY murders? Sources say no--that Tookie is linked to at least 20 murders, going back to his first case. The four murders are the only ones he was caught committing. Then there are the hundreds of murders his Crips gang committed, at his direction and/or approval.

We hope Gov. Schwarzenegger will also raise these questions and not grant clemency. We're for the death penalty only in the most extreme of cases, but this is one of them.

See today's absurd New York Times "apologist" Tookie op-ed piece by Michael Essig. Essig actually has the chutzpah to say this: "If Governor Schwarzenegger were to allow this prisoner to go to his death, he would suffer little political damage."

In sneering elitist Essig's view, this is all about political damage, not the lives of a 7-Eleven clerk and a family at a motel, which are simply not important enough versus the worthless life of a liberal cause celebre cold-blooded killer.

But he's dead wrong. Tookie should be dead. "Extreme Makeover" was cancelled, and Tookie's should be, too.

One "Extreme Makeover" that needs to be cancelled. The glamorization of a multiple murderer. Its time to draw the curtains on the street thug named Stanley Williams. Debbie Schlussel is for the death penalty in the most of extreme of cases and I might add every murder case is an extreme case. Fry the SOB now.

What does it take to be nominated for a Nobel? I bet that in the minds of some, a postcard to the Nobel Commitee is enough, or possibly an email.

And even if he won the Nobel Peace Prize, he'd be in with Jimmy Carter and Yasser Arafat.

Williams was a multiple-time Nobel Prize nominee

Well, if they can give the Nobel to the father of terrorism, Asir Arafat, why not a multiple murderer?

The Nobel prize is a political BS award.

Yesterday Roger Hedgecock said he's received letters from Tookie's prison guards stating in no uncertain terms how dangerous he is, even among the worst of the worst.

Arnold called into the show and Roger told him about the letters. Arnold said he's well aware of every aspect of the case ... [whatever that means]...

They're non-persons as far as the jet-set darlings are concerned.

Hey - why not a Pulitzer for his children's book?

Just can't expunge from my mind Eddie Murphy as Mr. Robinson reciting poetry on SNL

Watch dog bark on a hot summer night,
kill my landlord, kill my landlord,
watch dog bark, though he bite,
kill my landlord, kill my landlord,
slip in his window, break his neck,
then his house I start to wreck,
got no reason, what the heck!
kill my landlord, kill my landlord,
C-I-L-L my landlord

"If Governor Schwarzenegger were to allow this prisoner to go to his death, he would suffer little political damage."

Which indicates to me that the people -- you know, that element that would do whatever political damage that would be done -- are NOT averse to the execution. In fact, recent polls indicate support as high as 89 percent for the death penalty.

By the way, do you notice the subtle bias in the expression, "go to his death"? As though Schwarzenegger can intervene to halt a natural, passive process. Tookie's execution is not random happenstance; it is a planned, integral part of our system of justice. The State of California is actively participating in the administration of this sentence, as ordained by the citizens of that state in accordance with the law.

Frankly, I still think Schwarzenegger is going to cave.

I keep seeing his lawyers on t.v. saying he didn't do it, and the only evidence prosecutors had was the testimony of jail-house snitches. They had to have more. Does anybody know what it was?

I don't, but it seems all his appeals for clemency are based on his jailhouse conversion into secular saint. If there were any procedural anomalies in his trial, or evidentiary questions, I haven't heard them stated anywhere.

The celebrities supporting Mr. Williams should be made to explain their support for him to relatives of his victims, face to face.
