I can forgive his NOLA outbursts when taken in light of extreme pressure, sleep deprivation and the basic horror of seeing the results up close and not really knowing what is going on. Some claim he was in the lap of luxury while there but I don't really believe it was all that nice.
Others claim he is gay but unless they kissed him and he giggled, I don't think it is appropriate to accuse.
Shep Smith always struck me as an Al Gore-type. He tries to look like a GQ type metrosexual. Anyone who puts mousse in his hair is... gay? I bet he wears pleated trousers, and tassled loafers.
Maybe, but Brit is the News Director, certainly it's within his power to give Shepster his walking papers.
I can't stand watching him anymore. He creeps me out and he makes all these stupid comments which demonstrates to me he has an attitude and opinion but not much knowledge to go along with it.

TV "news" is being taken over by bathhouse boys, have they moved over from the NYT?
i laugh out loud every time i see that graphic on a thread and i PICTURE that graphic when i see him on the tv screen.

Oh well, some other enterpreneur will rediscover the crying need for a balanced network and make their zillions.
Shep has heard that Keith Olberman's 8PM slot will soon be vacant on MSNBC..

Me, too! Shep should go where his talents would really be appreciated -- like CNN or PMSNBC. He could be Anderson Cooper's or Olbermann's boy-toy!
Don't forget that he got arrested for hitting a LADY in Florida when AlGore tried stealing the 2000 election.
I later found out why he does not like ladies.
Don't say anything about a vacant slot on a man, around Shep.
He gets all tingly inside.

Shep likes to listen to his own rantings and thinks it will equal ratings...hopefully it won't. FOX is NOT "Fair" and "Balanced"...they're just "balanced". "Fair" would be going with accuracy...which in this case would mean there's no "story". How many newspapers here would publish "Liberal" articles...if doing so meant they'd become the target of real bullets? How many newspaper editors would publish if they had no one paying advertising and they actually had to live on a modest salary, with no perks, in order to get their "truth" out.
And would Shep be a television announcer in Iraq??? Remember, a couple of those have been kidnapped & killed for actually reporting the Truth....
