I was in Oxford MS a few weeks attending the Ole Miss/ Arkansas football game. At halftime the announcer rang out "Ladies and Gentlemen, attending today's game is Fox News own, Shephard Smith! A Ole Miss alumni and Holly Springs native, who is the anchor of the Fox Report!".

Well I didn't see the Shepmiester that day, but I am from Holly Springs and attended the same private school he did, 3 years his junior.

All I can really offer is that he was active in the choir and such and not an athlete. I can find some GREAT pictures of him in my old yearbooks though!

I also know his dad has been banned from the casinos in Tunica MS because he is good card counter at blackjack.

I expect, like most folks, Shep is a good-ole-boy....perhaps a little too liberal for FR, but he's OK.
