(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie.Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
Tookie whatever is a murderer, monster and a chicken sh!t and deserves to die...IMMEDIATELY.
Jamal Watkins ?
Moses' "crime" was only a crime because in Egypt the life of a free Egyptian was worth more than the life of a Jewish slave - therefore killing an Egyptian, despite the fact that he was defending the innocent by doing so, was considered a crime by the Egyptians.
If, in 20th century America, Williams had killed someone who was trying to murder someone else, he most likely would not be in prison.
But in reality, Williams killed people for fun and profit - not to defend the lives of others.
I don't see how anyone can respect an organization which considers a mass murderer to be its hero.
According to Watkins, Moses, too, was "found guilty of committing a murder himself. But through rehabilitation, he was able to lead the Israelites out."
Saving Pukie Tookie, is training for their next big objective-saving Saddam.
Over the top, Joe.
"Vengeance is mine, said the Lord." While there is a legitimate purpose in maintaining the death penalty, inflicting pain and suffering in the process is no measure of moral purpose and destructive to civility.
Hollywood nitwits like Mike Farrell single out the most heinous people to advocate because it makes them more forgiving, therefore more (self-) righteous, in their own eyes, than those who want justice done. It relieves them of their Rich White Liberal Guilt.
The NAACP must be very corrupt and evil to put out such filth.
I have never been a supporter of the death penalty. I do not rejoice at the death of another person, not even one such as this. However, comparing Williams to Moses has to be the biggest example of naked stupidity I've ever seen in my whole life. I don't know what was being smoked when that analogy was made, but it must've been very high quality.
kookie tookie goin up in smokey
I predict that Fundamentalist Blacks will continue to support the NAACP, continue to support radical Black spokesmen, and continue to vote for radical Leftist politicians. For some reason Black Fundamentalism simply disappears in the radicalism.
I don't know what it is. For some reason despite all the Fundamentalist Black masses no Fundamentalist leader ever arises from the Black community. I suspect if a snake handling minister from the Mississippi Delta were elected to Congress he would instantly morph into a radical intellectual witha Ph.D. and a longtime friendship with Fidel Castro (mach shemo).
I don't know how to explain it and I don't like it. But that's the way it is and I'm afraid that's the way it's going to be for a long, long time.
California really needs to take a look at its capital case appeals process, why is it this state takes longer than most states to carry out an execution? There are now over 600 on California death row and the number increases far faster than the number of executions. The Tookie case was decided well over 20 years ago. Cut the number of appeals and carry out executions, or eliminate the death penalty entirely in this state because being a blue state they are probably opposed to the death penalty anyways.
Now as far as the Moses analysis. It does not pass the smell test, but neither did John Kerry's Genghis Kahn speech. So draw your own conclusions of those who would let Tookie live.
I wonder if Farah got the wrong Moses.
On a thread the other day, people were discussing the "President's Call to Service Award" that Tookie was awarded. He was nominated for that award by "William Harrison, an archbishop in the Old Catholic Orthodox Church in West Monroe, La." In looking up the Church, I found it also went by alternative names, including "Cathedral of St. Moses the Black."
According to various sources on the web, St. Moses the Black (aka St. Moses the Ethiopian) "was a former gang leader, murderer, and thief in ancient Africa. However, he became a model of transformation. His is one of the most inspiring stories among the African saints.... Today he is considered the patron saint of African Americans."

"Meanwhile, every Christian and Jew who has supported the NAACP.."
Every Christian and Jew should also examine the political posturing of their own religion.
There are many liberal religious sects that oppose the death penalty on principle and oppose executing this butcher.
People should vote with their dollars and maybe more religions will stop trying to teach politics and get back to teaching individual morality.
