The passage of Ezekiel 38 is one of the most, specific, spectacular, and most fearsome prophecies in of the Old Testament. As Americans, we should take note that God clearly states in this fearsome prophecy, that "I will send fire to Magog - to those living undisturbed on the islands - and they will learn that I am the Lord. I have spoken! I am going to see that my holy name is known among my people Israel, and I will no longer allow my my holy name to be profaned; the nations shall learn that I am the Lord, holy in Israel." (Ezek 39:6)
Phrophecy, especially since there are disputes as to what they refer to, should not be relied upon as an excuse not protect national security.
Oh sure, people always ask- where is the U.S. in the Bible? The scary truth is, we might not be anywhere- taken out by the time these end things start in motion. I've heard it said "those that dwell in safety ont eh coastlands", too. So some people have speculated about a sub nuke strike from the coasts. When I was a kid, we always heard about the 8 minutes it would take to get an ICBM from Moscow to the US. An attack from the coasts, would take about what, 30 seconds? Spooky stuff. Plus, they've been playing around with missles that can pass through our missle shield. With friends like them...
