The intellectual dishonesty of his argument is as breathtaking as it is obvious. He blames the spread of AIDS on the Vatican's condemnation of condom use. If that linkage were true, it would require, among other things, that millions upon millions of people were heeding the Vatican and as a result were not using condoms during sexual activity with multiple partners outside of marriage. However, if those same millions upon millions of people are heeding the Vatican, then they must also be abstaining from sexual activity outside of marriage, and would therefore be abstaining from sexual activity with multiple partners, thus they would not be spreading HIV/AIDS.
So, for this "scientist" to be speaking truthfully, millions upon millions of people must be simultaneously heeding the Vatican and spreading AIDS, while also heeding the Vatican and preventing the spread of AIDS. What a fool, who can't even grasp the internal contradictions in his flawed 'argument' - there's not even a plausible veneer of science behind his remarks, rather, they are revealed as anti-Catholic bigotry, pure and simple...
