Great. Now they have one more chance to get it right. Pick a fireman or cop from the 9/11 heros or a Marine back from the fight against the Islamists and put the GOP and Conservative Parties behind them and make the next twelve months hell for Hillary.

Will they? Of course not. They will pick some hack legislator who will get 30% of the vote.

Exactly, they will pick a member of the country club, not someone who could invigorate the party and encourage new membership. I would be willing to bet that there are a lot of voters in NY sick and tired of the dems. But, they just have no viable choices come election time to voice that displeasure. When this occurs for a few election cycles, you lose membership and ultimately, become irrelevant.

Pirro was not the perfect candidate, but if the NY Republican party was truly focused on what matters, i.e. winning elections, rather than who's turn it was to run, they could see that Pirro would have given Hillary fits. Why? Simple, Hillary relies on the "victim" thing to win elections. She gets in the race, plays like a victim, wins sympathy and carries the day. Amazing how she goes from being the smartest, most powerful woman on the face of the Earth to a poor wittle victim, huh? I digress, she would not be able to play that card with Pirro. Hillary, for all her reputation, is not one-billionth of the politician her husband was. She is a one trick pony. Deprive her of that trick, she is done.
