Finally. That was one of the dumbest slogans ever. The military must work and fight as a team, not as an individual. It had way too much of a Rambo type ring to it for my taste.

I like the TV ad for the Marine Corps that shows a young man scaling a sheer mountain wall, unaided until he reaches the top, whereupon an outstretched hand pulls him the last way onto the precipice. Now he is a marine! A great metaphor!

I hated the original Army of One commercials where it showed the one soldier running to the batlle and everyone in the background was running FROM the battle.
