This problem should be dealt with man-to-man. I agree, someone should knock on his door and punch him in the mouth when he opens it.
Of course then, HE would call the police. But if enough people did it, eventually the police would stop showing up to defend the WIMP.

"Isn't there one neighbor with a good pocketknife?" My first thought exactly.
Mine too... I guess TSA confiscated them all (assuming these folks travel).
On another note, his neighbor was on Fox News in an interview... what a loon she was! Complaining about this guy shooting at squirrels on his mangoes.
The guy took "hanging Santa" down, he was protesting commercialization of Christmas.
He has the right to do this, 1st Amendment, and he should thank a Vet.

This compares to a neighbor who
religiously decorated his house with thousands of lights every Christmas, who this year is apparently upset with the President. No lights but a sign in the shape of Santa or a snowman that says it's all George W. Bush's fault there are no lights on his house because of his greedy oil price gouging...or something like that.
I was a bit upset at first when I saw it, but I bet he no longer has many friendly neighbors in the area.
