It does sound like Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is "calling out Israel". He is taunting and throwing symbolic water in their face.

We all have seen it in American western movies...the bad guy calling out the good guy for a gun-fight in the street.

Mr. Ahmadinejad's days are numbered IMO. Israel will meet Iran at "high noon" pretty soon....

1. Dilute discussion of your own failures
2. Maintain some aura of authority by institutionalized public dependence and suppression of truth
3. Create and emphasize an external demon
4. Insure the public has no ability to confront said demon without the state
5. Repeat until the a revolution or said demon sweeps you away

Thanks for the correction. Because I am such an imperialist, I was only thinking of the Middle and Near East, completely dismissing Indonesia - which if I'm not mistaken is a group of islands in the western Phillipines. And Pakistan I lumped in with India.
