"It has nothing to do with your faith, and I am sorry you have missed the big picture. It is all part of the same leftist PC nonsense that has been tearing down our culture and traditions. The same people responsible for making Christmas a 4-letter word, are the same people for gay marriage, for the cross being removed from the hill in San Diego, for the ban on real Christmas carols in school that we sang for our whole lives, for quotas, for ballots being published in multiple languages, etc. These are the leftists and socialists, and some of us have finally had enough. People shouldn't be afraid to say Christmas, merchants shouldn't be afraid to say Christmas tree, and companies shouldn't be afraid to have Christmas parties."

I don't see how the real tradition and culture of Christmas is threatened by merchants not saying "Merry Christmas".

The REAL MEANING of Christmas has NOTHING to do with shopping in a mall or superstore, anymore than it has to do with materialistic "Christians" stepping on top of each other to get to the nearest X-Box360 display or Talking&Peeing Elmo doll.

People should stick to living the REAL meaning of Christmas by celebrating the birth of Jesus, being with family, and giving to others, rather than expecting merchants to always say the right thing.

I think that the Christian groups who boycott Target and other places have the right method - just stop shopping there! If Target and others saw a large % drop in their stores during CHRISTMAS season while observing normal/elevated numbers elsewhere, they'd drop this "holiday" crap pronto.

It DOES have something to do with faith. For it's faith that is the 'reason of the season', NOT WHERE YOU SHOP and the type of greeting you receive!!

For the record, I've yet to meet anyone who's offended by this nonsense and am curious how many people truly ARE offended. Any ideas?
