Target never "banned" Christmas. They merely weren't using it in their advertising.
Shame on Wildmon for not acknowledging the difference.
I find it odd to see so much support for soviet-style social engineering on this website. It seems odd that Target plays Christmas muzak in their stores, but didn't want to use the word in their advertising.
Enough of this persecution complex already. It's almost a paranoid delusion.
There are a lot of people who think this Christmas thing is much ado about nothing and not worth worrying about.
That's how we got in the PC mess we're in.
If it's not important, why have all the ACLU types and anti-religious types worked so hard to eliminate mentions of Christmas.
Now that we've finally waked up, they're seeing the error of their ways.
Calling a Christmas tree something other than a Christmas tree is not only annoying, it's just stupid.
"Target never "banned" Christmas. They merely weren't using it in their advertising."
I never "boycotted" Target. I merely wasn't using them in my shopping routine!
Shame on me, too I guess. Because I don't see one, either.
