Noooo....but it would get the government out of the pockets of dead people, and allow accumulated wealth to pass on to the deceased's family. "Economic incentives" have nothing to do with the perpetuation of an evil tax policy.

It appears that you accept Shay's argument that the estate tax does not destroy economic activity, but you still favor repealing the estate tax on other grounds. You should not accept Shay's argument.

Appearances are deceiving. I was "agreeing" for sake of argument. The point is that Shays doesn't have a point, because his foundational assumption is that we don't own our own money.
