A very ill-advised interview, and his "advocate", Barbara Becnel, who probably ok'd the chat, even made it worse by her final comment.

Williams' defenders on Schwarzenegger's staff, which probably include his wife, Maria, and the new ultra-liberal chief of staff, Susan Kennedy, will have a very hard time making such an ignorant, arrogant, unrepentant man into a good candidate for clemency.

Unless Arnold has gone completely around the bend (and his choice of Kennedy makes one wonder), this decision should be easy. Williams execution will send precisely the right message to the gang bangers, i.e., our gang is bigger and badder than yours, and we have a gas chamber.

The reason Arnold wouldn't tell his decision until Monday is that he didn't want to give a whole weekend for idiots to get liquored up and burn cities to the ground.

My problem with Arnold is that he even met to give the appearance of considering it. He should have just said no clemency and left it at that.

I don't think for a second that Arnold will give him clemency. Arnold may not be the most conservative Republican there ever was, but he's not politically suicidal either.

Kudos to Karen Breslau. The interview allowed Tookie to spout his drivel, but did not accept it. You heard exactly what Tookie wanted to say, without endorsement by the interviewer. It is a very fine line, and Karen Breslau walked it perfectly.

MMMmmm...I don't think so, unless you consider blowing the face off a 106 pound defenseless asian girl, or shooting some 23 year old white kid in the back while he's laying prone on the floor, "killing like a man".

Yep. I think (Hope?) this interview has sealed the deal for this racist murderer. I have to think the vast majority of those who read this, and that includes many of his so-called supporters, will come away with the inescapable conclusion that he is not rehabilitated, is guilty and needs to pay with his life for both his crimes and his disgusting rationale for them.

Wonder if this article has been posted on DU. I'm certain it would give even those moonbats pause in their knee jerk support of this very deserving candidate for the needle. A very ill advised rant from the perspective of those who wish to give this killer any excuse. His handler is an idiot, thank goodness.
