I don't think the 9th Circuit can touch it, as it is a Federal Court, the only thing they could appeal there was procedural errors/civil rights violations.
I hope you're right, but I've got this creeping feeling that the Leftists are going try dragging in the 9th circus on some "violation of federal civil rights" argument. That will probably get a stay from those morons. Then it'll get kicked up to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Seen it happen on other high profile executions in which a bunch of idiot liberals get all queasy about killing a murderer or rapist. (Naturally, these same people saw nothing with starving a disabled innocent woman to death.)
