KFI in Los Angeles just announced that the California Supreme Court has denied Tookie Williams appeal for an emergency stay. Oh, darn...[/sarcasm off]...reminds me of the old Fats Domino/Cheap Trick song:

It was unanimous. In the motion, he argued he should have been allowed to claim someone else did one of the murders. He just admitted committing the other three! What was that we heard from Snoop Dog, Bianca Jagger, Jesse Jackson, Mike Farrell, et al about his having changed? Williams is a born liar. He didn't tell the truth 27 years ago and he sure as heck ain't telling it now. The SOB is just trying to save his sorry skin and its finally dawning on him people see past his jive. Those that have bought it that is. When the Blessed Event arrives, we'll wonder why there was this circus over one of the least deserving people ever to walk on this earth.
