It's time to contact California Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger and urge him to permit justice to run served--victim's rights demand Tookie's Termination. Posts to FR threads probably won't be seen by him or his staff--it's preaching to the choir.
Posts to the Official Governor of California Governor web site WILL be seen by his staff. Please go there and THEN also bump and ping this thread.

Arnold's supreme court has provided him cover by denying Tookie's appeal as groundless.
Arnold's press guy should simply reinforce that the Calif. SC has reviewed and Arnold finds their review thorough and compelling.
Nonetheless, we should take no pleasure in the death of the wicked.
I fear the 'girly man' will appear; but when the going gets tough. . .the 'terminator' is the one to rely on.

I take no pleasure in the death sentence. Tookie has never expressed remorse. Because of his creating the Crips MANY MORE PEOPLE HAVE DIED than the four murders he is convicted of. The message needs to be sent.
Did any of these people care about Vince Foster? Nooooooooo.
Tookie is a dead man. The very fact that Arnold has not made any statements on this, and they are preparing Tookie to die (which is more than tookie did for his victims) at 12:01 a.m., probably means Arnold will let it go forward. The Gov. doesn't even have to make a statement and just let the execution happen. It's possible we won't hear anything from Arnold today. If Arnold wanted to grant clemency, he would have done it by now.

There will be riots either way. Mr. S. Just do what is right. He has not been successfully appealed, because the evidence says he is GUILTY...
Just take a nap, wake up on Wednesday and give your decision after the fact. (little levity in a bad situation)

There is a court order currently in place that calls for Mr. Williams to be executed by the State of California on December 13, 2005, and Mr. Williams has, through his attorneys, expressed his desire for the Governor to grant him clemency in this matter.
Capital punishment is an issue about which many people hold strong and impassioned views, and Governor Schwarzenegger appreciates you taking the time to express yours with regard to Mr. Williams. Your correspondence will be given due consideration during the clemency process.

As you know, a quadruple murderer's life is now in your hands. If it were me, I would go see this piece of scum together with two d.o.j. top investigators. I would look him in the eye and say "Yor life is in my hands now. I brought these gentlemen here so that you can show me you have really changed. If you begin talking now, first with an admission of what you did, I will stay the execution for ten days while you fill in these gentlemen everything you ever knew about crime and your gangs. I will then decide to grant clemency or not."
Then I would, in all likelihood let the execution go forward. Nookie will feel better for having bared his soul before meeting his maker.
