East 18th is only one block away from Union Square, where you can find anything that is immoral, illegal and perverse. If this place were any further south it would be in Battery Park.

I used to have a place on 57th & 7th {West Side} and I'm not sure that they have yet gotten indoor plumbing on E.18th. I'm pretty sure that it is still open sewage, but the army corps of engineers is going to get on it {right after the new orleans levees}.

Oh, here come a few brickbats from ny, ny.

At least you have the guts to come right out and take an open stand for evil -- instead of trying to be cute.

Good point. I've never heard any orthodox, observant Jews complain about Christmas and public displays of Christianity. The only Jews who seem to get their panties in a bunch about this stuff are atheist liberals who happen to be of Jewish descent. It makes sense. Why would Orthodox Jews - who already have their own rich traditions, spirituality, and holidays - feel threatened by a decorated spruce called a "Christmas tree" or a Americanized quasi-religious figure named Santa? Only people who already lead very empty and cold lives would get upset about such things.

Bad taste?

Funny AND in bad taste?

Discuss.

I must have a sick sense of humour because my first reaction was to laugh.
Then I felt ashamed of myself but I still laughed:)

Hey, how about this edgy Kwanzaa display.

Har-dee-har-har.
