He's wrong on this one. Hopefully, as he gets farther away from it he will regain his senses on this. He's probably still a bit in shock!

Getting rid of the death penalty would only result in more crime in California. It is a deterrent. It doesn't sound like prison life is all that bad, and you get three squares a day...

I think you could have missed Ziegler's singular sense of the ironic. What is a death sentence worth if the convicted murderer lives 20 plus years after the sentence, co-authors books, amasses leftist and celeb $$ support, and is nominated six times for the Nobel Prize for Peace at the same time being denied all appeals?
