If that means I don't belong here, then perhaps someone should see to it that I be banned. Maybe I'm not completely in line with the goals of this site.

As long as you remain civil, you won't have any problems here. Even though I strongly disagree with you on Rudy, you seem to write well and can contribute to the debate as '08 looms closer.

Are you at least a Jets fan?

I don't believe a lot of those lives will be saved unless you find a way to make people think more about the choices they make, & work to eliminate the reckless behaviors that lead to those abortions. I disagree with how you people choose to go about this. It's not going to happen overnight. People need to understand what the consequences really are. Being a stickler about how pro-life an accomplished politician is, is simply not going to accomplish this.

I guess YOU'RE okay with all of those keywords at the top of this thread? Have anything to say about that? Is agreeing with those insults a matter of advancing to conservatism to YOU?

I follow the suburban teams, but my first allegiance is to the city teams: the Yankees, the Rangers, the Giants, the Knicks. I'm not a fan of the Cablevision regime that has made some very questionable moves with MSG, and I thought a Jets stadium was a good idea...but I'm with Big Blue.

As for the Sullivan laws, they make sense in a city with a population of 9 million people.

Are there any other amendments to the Constitution with which it would "make sense" to overturn in a large city?

It's not going to happen overnight.

How long has it been since Roe vs. Wade, and how many more innocent babies have to die needlessly before "people" (death-dealing abortion lovers) see the error of their sick and disgusting ways?

I guess YOU'RE okay with all of those keywords at the top of this thread? Have anything to say about that? Is agreeing with those insults a matter of advancing to conservatism to YOU?

I don't have a problem with mere words of ANY kind, no matter who they are directed at, me included. I've been around long enough and seen enough not to worry about such trivial things.

You just aren't as well armed as the police or military.

Can you please summarize what you believe the original intent of the 2nd Amendment is?

I notice that the right to peaceably assemble on portions of Wall St. & Broad St. has been curtailed for security reasons since 9/11. There's a fence in the middle of the street that restricts movement on public property. That's ONE security-related measure in downtown NYC that amounts to a local overturning of a Constitutional Amendment, from what I can see.

Thoughts?

Last of all, it FIGURES you are former Navy.

I'm totally on your side in the (r)udy debate, but that comment was extremely uncalled for. There are Navy personnel currently fighting bravely overseas.

Except Giuliani is only my 4th choice, after Pawlenty, Sanford, and Pence.

Unfortunately, it appears as if Sanford will not be running after all. :-(

Yea we've all sinned, but adultrey is a compltely different class of sin. Your not going to change alot of peoples mind on that, anyone who betrays his wife like that, is a piece of @#$#@. I may screw up here and there, but i never have nor never will cheat.

Then get used to President Hillary Clinton. It's attitudes like that, that will cause this. And the more I bother with this, the more I'll be prepared for this...I can't even fathom that Freepers would shoot themselves in the foot this way, but it looks like that's the way you want it.

Perhaps we could agree that rather than nominating Rudy who would surely lose to the Beast, a better strategy would be to nominate someone who is conservative, but at the same time can appeal to others with an open mind. I think Mike Pence would have a much better shot than Rudy at winning.

Technicalities like that aren't going to fly with most value voters and he's still a piece of @#$# In my eyes for doing it, unless he was officialy divorced from his wife then its still adultry. His wife may have been a female dog, but its not excuse for cheating.

I'm a big fan of FR's rules with regard to not personally attacking other posters, but somehow I doubt that Rudy is going to happen to read this thread, so the keywords are not a big deal.

There is, and always has been, a friendly rivalry between Navy pukes and Marines, so don't see this as a slight towards those serving in Iraq/Afghanistan.

One of my main disagreements has been with Wombat101 (a.k.a. Moonbat101), so most of my ire is directed at his arrogant, elitist, NYC, RINO-Rudy-loving, Squidly ass. :)

Because Giuliani has a weak to disappearing hairline, he'll never win.

I was Army and it was the same with us and the Air Force. I'm glad the comment was made in jest. It sounded a bit vitriolic at the time.

"Weak to disappearing"?

You could land a CH-53 Sea Stallion on his slick, hairless grape!

Let's call it LZ RINO.

As to, "he'll never win"...

I don't care WHAT the reason is, THAT will be a good outcome for America, especially if you mean he won't win the primaries.
