I disagree. California is a Democratic state in addition to being a liberal one. The majority of voters there have a predilection for Democrats. Leftists will never vote for a liberal Republican who will be pulled to the right when they can vote for a leftist Democrat who is the real deal.
Its actually kinda funny. But personally I just hope the candidate is a strong candidate and will be able to win. Its going to be a tough race.
First of all, I'm not a Rudy supporter. Second, when did God make you the judge of everybody? Jesus said that if you even think about committing adultry your as guilty as the person who did. Now, if you tell me that you have never thought about committing adultry, your a lieing S.O.B. I have to ask God to forgive me every night for the things I have done and for the things I have thought about doing.

I never claimed to be a saint, but if you think comparing a random idle thought to the actual act of adultry then you are beyond help. I"m not judging rudy, thats up to god, but i will never vote for a man who betrayed his wife, and most churchgoing people i know won't either. You can try to shove rudy and gingrich down our throats all you want, but there are those of us who prefer to have a president with moral values. Adultry to many is a very egregious act, spin spin spin away, but you only look like those clinton apologists in the 1990's when you do.
Just you watch, when people find out rudy is married to his mistress, he will be laughed out of the republican primary. We went after clinton and tried to impeach him for screwing around with his intern, were not about to turn around and nominate a man who married his mistress.

One of the charges leveled against clinton was abuse of power in regards to monica, that is messing with your 23 year old intern and we did hound him for it and we did demonize him for it. We can talk about all we want how we went after him for lying to a judge, but the american public has long perceived it to be us going after him for screwing around with his intern and will see us as hippocritical for turning around and nominating an adulterer.
Attack me personally all you want, but its people like me who demand moral values from our leaders and leaders with character who helped define this party. Last time i checked when 'conservatives' like me crawled under our rocks we had 150 members in the house and a minority in the senate. People like me beleive in moral absolutes, either what you do is right or what you do is wrong, and conservatives like you and many liberals can't stand that. Well too bad, morals are what they are, rudy cheated on his wife and there's no getting past that. Many of us will never vote for a man who can't be faithful to his wife, and go ahead and nominate him and lets see how far you go.
Wouldn't this be a great country if everyone was perfect like you? Someone who has never lied, cheated, stole, coveted, etc. According to Jesus one sin is just as bad as the other. You can wipe the slate clean if you ask for his forgiveness. How do you know if Rudy has not set himself right with the lord? If he has, he is a better person than you.
What's the saying "Judge not unless you which to be judged." If you keep the attitude you have, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes when it comes time for God to pass judgement on you.
Your pathetic if you think adultry is on the same level as say cussing, or a random inappropriate thought, or gossiping. I would sure hate to be in your shoes come judgement day.
You know what, i apologize for my last statement regarding you being judged. I'm tired of this constant back and forth desire to get the last word in and i dont want it to descend into DU childish retorts. Lets just agree to disagree on this, nobody is changing anybodys mind on this.
