I think when a school takes a stand on these things, like the changing Silent Night, no mention of Christ, etc.. parents should not have them go to school the day of the party.
Maybe have a Christmas party at home with school friends and see how fast they change their minds. When they start losing state aid because so many children are absent, they will change their minds.
