Officer Accused of Damaging Pro-Bush Cars (AF plans discharge)

DENVER (AP) - The Air Force Reserve plans to discharge a lieutenant colonel accused of defacing cars that had pro-Bush bumper stickers, the military said Friday.

Lt. Col. Alexis Fecteau, a pilot with 500 combat hours in the first Persian Gulf war and the Balkans, is charged with criminal mischief for allegedly using paint stripper to write a profanity about Bush in 18-inch-high letters on cars at Denver International Airport.

The cars had bumper stickers supporting President Bush and conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh.

Jim Miller, a spokesman for the Air Force Reserve Command at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., said the command plans to begin the process of giving Fecteau an administrative discharge. He said Fecteau does not face any military punishment.

Neither Fecteau nor his lawyer, Patrick Mulligan, immediately returned calls. Mulligan has said Fecteau would plead innocent.

Fecteau is charged with 13 counts of criminal mischief, five of them felonies because the damage to five vehicles was estimated at more than $500 each.

Police said the vehicles were damaged between January and July and a video camera recorded Fecteau damaging a vehicle.

Fecteau - sound French. He must be a Jacques Querrie fan.

Rush mentioned a new development to this story. This was posted here when it originally happened and nothing was said about the cars also having Rush Limbaugh stickers being vandalized till now.

Our son got his tires slashed last fall because he had a "Veterans for Bush" bumper sticker on his car.

Liberals are evil. Period.

On the other hand, I was stopped at a stop sign, and a gentleman came up and knocked on my window. He wanted to advise me that my right rear tire was low. He said he only told me because I had a Bush04 sticker on my car. :-)

This is what happens when extremist liberals are in the military. They take military action.

How many other Fuctoe wingnuts are in the military?
Sometimes this seems like an interesting question.

Liberal wingnuts are getting so desperate, they do not honor the CIC.

About 3 months before the election, my dad's flagpole connectors came loose at the top of the flagpole. He spotted some young guys working at construction and offered $20 for someone to go up and fix it. (I live in TN and he is in FL).

The guy came after he got off work and in 15 minutes had it fixed. He then asked my dad, who he was voting for. My dad said Bush and the guy said "no charge-if you had said Kerry, I would have taken the $20".

Fecteau's "lawyer" said he plans to plead innocent. Wouldn't that make this maggot a liar also?

This is the main reason I don't have any bumper stickers, "fish" emblems, or political messages displayed on my current car (much as I'd like to). My previous car had every single body panel keyed (not all at once) at one time or another within the first three years that I'd owned it. Don't have that car any more, don't live in that part of town any more. More and more people have less and less respect for private property. I can imagine what might have happened if it had any bumper stickers on it.

Our friends are very strong "Pro-Life" advocates, and their vehicles are decorated with bumper stickers expressing as much.

If you examine their cars, you'll notice that their antenna's have been broken off, their hood ornaments have been savagely removed, and they have pin striping that never came with the vehicles when they first bought them.

Liberals are sinister, and the epitome of hypocrisy.

"...less and less respect for private property."

Liberals believe that you shouldn't have ANY private property, as do communists. One is never surprised by their villainous behavior.

I guess that there may be a touch of "goody-goody" in me but I would never deface someone else's property. Since I recognize that there are others who don't share that particular view, I never have any emblem of any sort on my cars.
