I'm glad he responded to this quickly but why just a radio address? The Gipper was so effective when he talked straight to the American people via prime time TV. Why won't Dubya do the same thing? (besides flubbing his lines occasionally)

President Bush IS addressing the nation, tomorrow night from the oval office at 9 pm. Hopefully he will bring to the attention of the nation the enemies within.

Tomorrow night. It'll be on FNC.

The Weekly radio address is carried on almost all radio stations nation wide. It is unfiltered and the usual TV suspect pundits cannot come on post haste behind him to spin what he said. The listener can draw their own conclusions.
I think the radio gambit was brilliant.

I'm glad he responded to this quickly but why just a radio address? The President announced yesterday that he will address the nation at 9:00 PM EST on Sunday. I think that the Congress is in for a beatin' about the Homeland Security Act and leaking the eavesdropping program.
I expect that the Homeland Security bill will be passed early next week. I Marvel at the rapidity of Bush's response to these two issues.

Tomorrow night in case someone did not let you know about the Sunday Night speech.
