The White House asked for time for him to talk about Iraq in light of the Election there.
Quite a few folks seem to think he might announce some surprise, or that he might skewer the Senate for diddling away the Patriot Act and skewer those responsible for the leak in the NY Times about our listening in on terror suspect phone calls and skewer those who accuse him of doing something wrong when he wasn't and is just trying to keep us from getting hit again like 9-ll.
It remains to be seen if he will add anything to the expected Iraq topic.
