Thanks for the thread. I'm feeling pretty good about this speech. The President's been out giving speeches, he's been giving interviews, and he's angry and energized.

I expect an excellent speech tonight. This will be the first televised, nationwide speech speech in a long time where he gets a bump in the polls, although that is secondary to explaining the policy to the American people and cutting through the media filter.

That's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

I haven't read all 38 posts yet... but I wonder how far we will have to go before someone laments the fact that the President "just isn't a good speaker." Personally, I get tired of this...
