Too bad I missed it as I live about 45 miles away... Don't worry about NH turning blue. We were red in 2000 and without that small patch of red in the otherwise blue northeast, Gore would have been president.... Kerry did take the state in 2004 but it was the northern counties that voted for him while southern NH went republican. The people moving north from MA (I escaped MA ten years ago) are usually conservatives... When Hilary gets the nod in 2008, we'll be bright red...

This is correct, confirmed by a Union Leader research project and Free Stater research projects as well. The Free Stater "ideological map" of new hampshire shoes the regions bordering Mass. are generally most conservative/libertarian. The most active pro-liberty zone in america may in fact be the area just north of the authoritarian state of Mass. Here's a shot of me educating a police officer about open carry in southern NH:
