Watching this, there is no doubt in my mind that our president deeply believes in the idea of freedom. That he believes in his soul Freedom is not for the weak spirited, yet freedom can mend a weak spirit. Only Freedom can satisfy the deepest yearnings of humanity and quell the darkside of our souls that comes forward when our spirits are abused and held back.

I felt the president was pragmatic but let them have it on National Security matters. Id like to think he hit them into yesterday, but I fear these people are to educated to feel the weight of their actions. The president made it clear he is willing to bop them again if they keep it up. I say we "the pajamahadeen" hold them for the presidents next round. ;)

Thanks for posting this. Unfortunately I had to leave in the middle but later heard Rush say that GWB cited the Senators in New York, Nevada and California for not voting to renew the Patriot Act and urged us to contact them for an explanation. No where in the transcript do I see mention of it. Am I missing something?

I thought he was GREAT today. He was so animated and really drove his point across. Who is too educated? The PRESS? Give me a break! I honestly believe they are interested in nothing but their own 'fame'; Woodward, Bernstein, wannabes-all. They all want to be the one to take this President down. And, yes, I am in my jammies!

The elite are so full of their own teachings that they seem unreachable with reason hence my dig at the "educated" those that study at the alter of our liberal schools
