Lewis said --quote-- "It's a very serious charge, but he violated the law.The president should abide by the law. He deliberately, systematically violated the law. He is not King, he is president." "Yeah, John...you tell 'em!"
I wonder what John said about Impeaching IMPOTUS X-42? Was perjury, and Obstruction of Justice "...a very serious charge, but he violated the law.The president should abide by the law. He deliberately, systematically violated the law. He is not King, he is president."
Funny, but when THEIR "King" gets busted violating the law, they IGNORE the law, and attack the investigators and investigation!
Bush informs Congress, and does everything right, and it's "the seriousness of the Charge" all over again!

Lewis is the first major House figure to suggest impeaching Bush.Holy Moly! "Mumbles" John Lewis (D - GA) is a major House figure? Will wonders never cease!
I don't believe it. John just ain't a sharp knife, whether in the drawer or not.
He did good work in the Civil Rights struggle, and he's a good old fellow. But Major Owens is the only "major" around. Remember that Major Owens ferreted out the fact that so many slaves were thrown overboard on the way to America that it permanently changed the shark feeding pattern in the Atlantic?

Did he happen to mention which law President Bush broke? I mean specific law, not just "Bush lied people died".

Hello Massgopguy,
That MF has a convenient memory like all of the commie-crats.
Lewis is nothing, but an ignoramus drawing a undeserved govt salary at US tax payers expense.
Lewis is a real roll-model for the commie-crats

Seriously, Lewis doesn't belong in congress, he belongs on the Howard Stern show debating politics with Wendy the Retard, Crackhead Bob and Beetlejuice. OMG, best line if seen here in for a long time. BWAHAHAHAHHAHA!

The similarities between the kamakazi pilots and the 9/11 hijackers were amazing. Both acts were meant to start a war. This is not correct. The Kamikazes were not used at Pearl Harbor but only toward the end of the war when the Japanese were desperate.
If the History channel tried to compare the Kamikazes with the 9/11 hijackers then I really have to wonder about about the scholarship of the program.
- The kamikaze pilots flew their own plane - the hijackers killed innocent civilians and hijacker theirs.
- The kamikaze pilots targeted military targets - the hijackers targeted civilian and governmental targets.
- The Kamikazes pilot wore military uniforms to designate their allegiance - the 9/11 hijackers hid among civilians
- The kamikaze pilots flew in marked planes representing a country that had declared war against the United State - who knows who the 9/11 hijackers represented since no nation ever declared war.
There is no similarity between the two groups.

Actually, it may be illegal in Atlanta to make fun of one with a speech impediment. No, but it's not a very classy thing to do. Lewis is a terrible congressman but why not concentrate on that rather than his speech issues?
What's next? Making fun of kids with cleft palates because they sound funny when they talk?
To: Peach
Jeez, Peach. That pretty plainly says FOREIGN intelligence information.
It is a Constitutional violation, plain as day. That's why they are having to say it was 'implied' in the authorization of force resolution or that the power is 'inherent.' Everything that specifically addresses the question says they can't do it.
It is quite sad that so many are willing to just look away.

I sent it because it clearly says that warrantless wiretaps are permissable. That deals with one aspect of this matter.
You have, I'm assuming, seen the link that deals with US citizens?

Clinton though was above the law for committing perjury and obstruction of justice. President Bush needs to be impeached for spying on Al Qaeda. Yeah, I can see where upholding our form of government is an impeacheable offense, alright.

Thank you for the clarifications. I always assumed that Kamikazes were used at Pearl Harbor. The History Channel did not compare the Kamikazes to 9/11, I did.
I guess I was viewing the similarities more in general, i.e. both used suicide tactics and both used planes (just thought that maybe Osama got the idea of flying planes into stuff from kamikaze footage). But you are correct. If they did not use kamikazes at Pearl Harbor, then my "interesting thought" falls apart.
I also should not have said there were similarities between the pilots and the hijackers. I was just viewing it in terms of planes being directed into hitting stuff. It just shocked me to see a Zero hit a US ship in much the same way a commercial airliner hit a US building.
