Nothing so crass as advertising. Instead, they do a "news feature" on the blue bracelet, which functions as a free ad for Democratic fund-raising. If you think NPR is substantive and hype-less, I have a bridge you might be interested in buying near Brooklyn. I also find it strange that someone who frequents Free Republic (and isn't actively employed by the Maryland Democratic Party) could stand to listen to NPR for more than a few minutes without screaming and feeling his or her head explode. NPR is a constant and ongoing advocate for the Democratic Party and the most misguided types of socialism.

Beats the hell out of Fox News, with its endless hype and incessant repetition of RNC talking points.

So what's the big deal with thinking blue?
I kind of like the stuff myself.

If NPR were supporting republican causes and candidates most here would probably be all for it.
The fact that our republican leadership continues to fund NPR & PBS at all, shows what a pathetic bunch the gop has become.

I clicked on this convinced it would be the shortest article I ever read.
