It would be great if we could work out some kind of exchange program with Canada where we would take their hard-working, law-abiding citizens and they would take our welfare grandmothers, abortion enthusiasts, condom throwers, screeching feminists, Hollywood drunks, gold-chained union "organizers", race industry "victims", and all the rest of the losers, parasites, and humorless malcontents who comprise the Democrat Party base.

Well, except for the 'welfare grandmothers', this exchange has largely happened over the past 30 years. Canada's 'progressive' forces have a large component of Yankee Whackjobs - take Svend Robinson, for instance - please! ;^)

I support Paul Martin and the liberals. I want Canada to continue trekking leftward until it becomes the secular socialist welfare state that American Democrats dream about. Seemingly it's just one stupid, arrogant remark after another from the Liberals.
So far it's been the 2004 campaign in reverse - and then some!
I've said all along that - at least - a minority government is Harper's to lose this time out.
Supposedly, there are polls showing an absolute ground swell of CPC support across Ontario outside of the 905/416 area codes and with only the msm pollsters intentionally urban-weighted sampling holding back the overall numbers.

While I don't see much hope for Toronto beyond maybe 2 or 3 Ridings, it's appearing more and more as if voter disgust with the Liberals is within sight of reaching critical mass in Ontario's hinterland.
