Paroled TWA Hijacker Returns to Lebanon

Tuesday, December 20, 2005

BEIRUT, Lebanon — A Lebanese man serving a life sentence in Germany for the 1985 hijacking of a TWA jetliner and killing of a U.S. Navy diver has returned to Lebanon after being paroled in Germany, security and guerrilla officials said Tuesday.

Mohammed Ali Hamadi arrived in Beirut four days ago on a commercial flight from Germany, a Lebanese security official and a Hezbollah guerrilla group said on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

but the mystery: Why someone involved with Hamas, we haven't really been fighting Hamas in Iraq.

He's not Hamas, he's Hizbullah, in fact his brother was a big mucky muck in that collection of losers, which of course isn't saying all that much.

Hizbullah is tight with the Iranians, who are sticking their noses into Iraq.

Thanks for the correction. The basic point remains. Our government disgraces the memory of our fallen sailor with their acquiesence to this sleazy deal. The jihadi released by the Germans could be dealt with through any number of methods - secret executive order, letters of Marque and Reprisal, etc.

From Jerusalem Post:

US: We will hunt down released Lebanese hijacker

A very un-european response - live and let live you know, kumbayaa and so on.

All I can say is good hunting - and I'll drink to an exceedingly violent death to mr Hammadi.

He is not the only one that should be punished. Germany needs to get a thrashing.

Hunt him down with what?

Use our intelligence agency that can't snatch people out of Italy without staying in the finest hotels or the one that can't take terrorist to other countries without being detected by simply calling or tracking down a airplanes call letters.

We have the means and only need the will. This is not a person that needs to be questioned but killed.

So was Hizbullah behind the latest round of kidnappings and the murder of our guy? If so, have they joined with Zarquawi and the insurgency in Iraq?

Don't suppose they bugged him somehow before he was released?

I got to hear Captain Testrake tell his stories of that episode, he was a real heroic type and still teared up at some points. I was lucky enough to be in the cabin crew for the last flight of that particular 727 that we TWA'ers knew as the "Beirut Bomber". If you knew where to look you could still find the patches over the bullet holes in the cabin and tail surfaces. I knew too many people that suffered at the hands of this cretin and his buddies. I'm just glad that Capt. Testrake did not live to see this. I'd bet that his son, who also flew for TWA, would have some choice words for this moment.

I think it is also time to pull out U.S. military bases in Germany.

Let these jerks rot! This is the thanks we get for protecting western Europe during the cold war? At solely our expense I might also add. With the exception of England, they had practically no military whatsoever. They had no need, and it saved them a bundle!

I have absolutely had with them. They are a bunch of pompous, arrogant idiots. Let western Europe (with the exception of England, of course) reap what they have sown. They want to get clobbered, let them have it.

"Don't suppose they bugged him somehow before he was released?"

I highly doubt it. Germany (rhymes with Wormany) probably would not want to offend the little b*st*rds civil rights.

I sent this to our local rag paper:

“Tookie” the Hero.

Once again your newspaper (which I read for free) has me shaking my head. Why would you give a big spread December 21 (AP) to for “Tookie” the killer? Don’t you people have any dignity? Why don’t you erect a statue of your beloved “Tookie” in front of the Standard Speaker building this way you can admire the killer everyday? It is bad enough that you are a Newspaper that gets your articles from a liberal bias AP but doesn’t anyone in charge there know the difference between good and evil.

Do you and your staff know who Robert Dean Stethem is? Why don’t you go Google an AP article on him? I would love to see a half page tribute to Mr. Stethem a real American Hero, who murdered 20 years ago because he was an American Marine. I don’t recall an article or picture in your paper on him during the summer to remember his brutal death by an Islamic Terrorist, but then again I’m not surprised.
