I'm not so sure. I remember the Academy Awards back in 2003. When Michael Moore went on his anti-Bush tirade, it was the grips, sound people, camermen et al. who booed him off stage, while the likes of Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Lou Gossett smiled at every word.

Would doubt that Harrison Ford, Calista Flockhart and Lou Gossett would invite Michel Moore over for dinner. The will applaud that whale while he speaks, but that where the association stops.
