24 days. Those poor grandparents.
I could barely contain the urge to vomit while reading this story. If he was a sick dog they would have put him down a lot faster and more humanely. If they really had conviction that he was better off dead, why didn't they administer something to do the job quickly and painlessly? Instead, "they were waiting for his decision on the time to leave". Death by "benign neglect". I hope at least they are honest enough take full personal responsibility for their actions.

I hope this haunts them until they're cold in the grave, or I should say until THEY are neglected, unable to care for themselves.
